Access management for all clients is handled at the network level using the Atlas LabWorks integrated HIPAA Toolset. Employing a highly flexible and configurable security management interface, you can tailor access across your client network to meet the needs of your clients. Administrators can create lists of associated physicians and Provider Groups, allowing easy and efficient access management. Access to patient records can be restricted by provider group(s), or individual(s) and can be of limited duration. Each provider group within your network also can manage its own internal access controls.

Physicians receiving a report in Atlas LabWorks PC can forward to other physicians in the system as well as providing reports to other consulting physician by enabling them to view a patients history via consenting online access. Furthermore, to optimize patient care, a physician with access to a patient’s clinical history may be enabled to review all of the patient’s orders and results within the system.
