Atlas Medical CEO in AIMCL Executive Roundtable

WOODLAND HILLS, CA. (March 1, 2003) – Atlas Medical Software, a leading provider of clinical connectivity between physicians and laboratories today announced that its CEO, Rob Atlas will participate in the Executive Officer Roundtable at the 21st annual Automated Information Management in the Clinical Laboratory (AIMCL) meeting to take place at the University of Michigan Medical School, May 22-23, 2003. Atlas will join other industry leaders for a frank discussion on the future of laboratory information technology. Bruce Friedman, MD, the course director of the AIMCL event, will moderate.

The AMICL conference attracts laboratorians from national and regional hospital and reference labs and academic institutions who want to be informed about the latest developments in laboratory informatics. “We want to provide attendees with a fresh perspective on the next wave of technological innovation in the field,” says Dr. Friedman. “This roundtable brings together a number of executives who are working at the cutting edge in developing next generation software systems that will change the way labs operate. As the head of a very innovative company in the lab IT space, Rob was a logical choice for the panel.”

Atlas welcomes the opportunity. “I’m very excited to be participating. In my more than twenty years providing technology to labs, I’ve spent a great deal of time looking beyond the horizon. This offers me the chance to share some of my insights with others in the field.”

The panel will take place on Thursday May 22, 2003, at 3:40 PM at the Towsley Center for Continuing Medical Education on University of Michigan Medical School campus in Ann Arbor. Further information on attending the event can be obtained by calling the Registrar at the Office of Continuing Medical Education (800) 800-0666.
